Mechanical Lugs

One type of mechanical lug is suitable for Aluminum to Aluminum, Copper to Copper, or Aluminum to Copper conductors. Complete with the patented universal shear screw for installation with either a ratchet or impact wrench. Cable lugs with shear bolts have a wide scope of application due to the large range of conductors they can be used with. The body of the lug is made of Aluminum alloy of high strength which is corrosion resistant, and their surface is additionally protected by the tin-plating process to avoid galvanic action. The inside of the lug is filled with electrical contact grease and sealed with a protective bung. The inside of the lug is toothed to ensure better contact.
